TRAINING “SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE DEVELOPMENT IN THE PROCESS OF INTERNATIONAL ECONOMY”

Understanding the knowledge and practical needs of cooperatives in the processing of finished agricultural products, with the aim of approaching the international market with many potentials but also many challenges, Dak Nong Cooperative Alliance coordinated In collaboration with the Center for Development and Integration (CDI) conducted the training course “Sustainable Agricultural Development in the Process of International Economic Integration" to help 40 new-type cooperatives in Dak Nong province with groups coffee, pepper, passion fruit, durian, avocado, vermicelli, etc. and having the best conditions for sustainable agricultural development in order to meet the requirements of international markets. 

During three days (August 6-8, 2018), the trainees mastered the basic concepts of sustainable agricultural development in international economic integration.

40 new-type cooperatives discussed together to identify their own strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges that they face in the current production reality to find solutions to their problems on the basis of prioritization.

With the aim of promoting export products to the markets of Europe, America, Korea, Japan, etc. The training session provided useful information on regulations and technical standards for products. Agriculture to not only develop the domestic market, but also serve the potential export market.

Moreover, the training session helped trainees at the cooperatives to identify their position in the process of participating in the global value chain so that the plan could be properly implemented and bring about lasting high economic efficiency.

At the training session, trainees were also introduced and shared about 4.0 technology applied in agriculture, branding strategy, intellectual property, market development for the purpose of promoting promotion. promote commercial activities for each cooperative in each commodity group.

Although the training session was not long, most of the participants were happy, learning and interacting with each other to get better ideas for their production and business. After the training session, the cooperatives planned to establish a core cooperative union for groups of industries to jointly find a direction to develop in a specialized way, suitable for the global export business.

In the process of conducting training at the cooperatives here, VietFarm experts have collected more practical conditions and necessary needs in order to contribute to completing VietFarm standards. With the practical background and sincere contributions of farmers, the cooperative of Dak Nong province has helped VietFarm experts to have a better basis to improve efficiency and the positive impact of consumer spending standard.
