VieFarm Award – Pride of Vietnam 2018

VIETFARM AWARD – Pride of Vietnam for the first time was organized to encourage units in Vietnam’s agricultural sector to apply and practice sustainable agriculture and meet the requirements of domestic and export markets.

             VieFarm Award 2018 is funded by the Irish Aid through the Integration and Development Center and co-organizers of the Association of Vietnamese Retailers, the Center for Agricultural Information and Development, Institute of Rural and Mountainous Socio-Economic Development Consultants and many sponsors such as Tan A Dai Thanh Group, Sunshine Academy, Sunshine Branding, Hoang Tram Company, the International Investment and Macadamia Development Joint Stock Company, ByteSoft Company. The process of selecting Vietnamese agricultural production units is carefully carried out and field assessments to ensure that VietFarm 2018 awardees have quality, sustainability, responsibility and fair criteria.

VietFarm Awards 2018 is an exciting journey that the Development and Integration Center and VietFarm Standards  together with co-sponsors to build award content, directly to many parts of Vietnam, find out good and creative practices of individuals, units, production groups, cooperatives, etc. That journey connected VietFarm with farmers, businesses with production units, together developing quality, responsible, fair and sustainable agriculture  in Vietnam, gradually reaching out to international market.

        VietFarm Award with more than 100 individuals and units in the agricultural sector with a variety of products such as vegetables | fruit | coffee | tea,… registered to the award. All individuals anf units are serious and honest to complete the attendance document, which is also a way for the units to review and understand the quality of their units and develop their plans, improve themselves in the future. Vietnam’s agriculture is constantly growing. Learning from each other’s experiences will help the units have more motivation, directions, new development and significant economic improvement.

With the serious evaluation of the experts in the agricultural sector, the award has got 29 best units entering the Final Round. The agricultural experts and consultative board of the award went directly to 29 units, directly evaluated and learned about the unit in order to have the most objective result and find the best worthy unit to encourage and honor.

VietFarm Award was first organized, although there were many shortcomings, it certainly left a positive image and many good signs of Vietnamese agriculture. The award is the most sincere encouragement that the Organizing Committee sends to individuals and units trying to gradually improve the quality, enhance business operations transparently, and improve economic efficiency by our physical and intellectual effort.

           Finishing the Award, We achieved positive results, we come together with a new step. In the foreseeable future, there will be difficulties for agricultural production, cultivation and processing units, but on that way, VietFarm will always accompany and support the units. VietFarm will make more and more efforts to create the best conditions for the units, for VietFarm community to grow stronger and stronger.
