VietFarm participated in ” Mekong River Delta Supply Chain Forum” in Can Tho City.

On August 31st 2018, the Vietnam Association of Farmers and Agribusinesses collaborated with the Can Tho Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Vietnam Association of Retailers, Department of Cooperative Economy and Agricultural Development The village has organized the “Mekong River Delta Supply Chain Forum” in Can Tho City.

The Center for Development and Integration- CDI has attended and exhibited products at this forum. The products of CDI have received much attention from delegates / enterprises by regional characteristics, clean products, origin, good quality … Especially, tea products from Muong Do Clean Tea Co-operative, coffee of Thuan An Trade Union, Eakiet Cooperative, Pepper … are highly appreciated and attracted attention from the distributors: Canthofarm.com – Chain Can Tho Food Store; Supermarket An Giang and some other business establishments.

The event attracted the participation of nearly 200 delegates from the Departments, Branches, Industry Associations, Enterprises, Units / Organizations operating in the fields of production, business and services of the Mekong Delta. The forum aims to promote the program of linking production and marketing of agricultural products in Can Tho City and other provinces in the Mekong Delta, forming the key products in order to orient the production area to meet the value chain. Link production and consumption of agricultural products in the context of climate change.

The main contents of the forum focused on exchanging; discussing issues related to the situation, current situation, solutions on planning and policies to encourage investment in key products and developing key products, link production and marketing of agricultural products in the Mekong Delta, meet trade agreements signed between enterprises / establishments of agricultural production with distributors, retailers, houses Provide inputs to agriculture.
